No, I'm a company driver.
Delivered my Target load and then headed to get the backhaul at Clorox in Aberdeen, MD.
And I'm still headed to get my backhaul load, sort of.
After waiting 2 hours at Clorox while no one touched the trailer I went inside to see what the deal was.
Well, they were unloading another trailer with some of the product that was going on mine. And it would be quite a while since I was 5th in line for loading.
By that time I only had 2 hours left on my 14, and they said I could not sleep on the property
I ended up dropping the trailer and going to a nearby truck stop. I'll pick it up in the morning.

Having Clorox drop the ball really works to my advantage. Since this load can't deliver until tomorrow I'll have at least 2 days at that rate, even if they don't need me any more.
I'll only have about 7 hours left on my 70 after I deliver it, so I'm hoping they have something rather short to use it up. No hours coming in the next day, and less than 7 the next.
I have good hours from then on, though. So if it lasts for a week or more at least they'll get more for their money.
I may just do a 34 to reset it. -
Day two at the Days Inn just of 75 in Lexington KY. Truck is in the freightliner shop with every warning light and buzzer that was built into these Cascadias showing. Still no idea on what the problem is. I do believe a faulty DEF sensor is one of the issues though. When I finished up my pretrip Monday morning and started the truck my low DEF light was flashing, though the tank was filled the day before and was at half a tank before that fillup. Never made it out of the Corbin KY Love's lot before the engine derated and all the warnings started at the same time. Crawled back to a parking spot atmy top speed of 5mph and started this little adventure.

The T/A in Morris. Send a Costco pplan to Auburn Hills for tomorrow with a back up picking up in Lansing going to Seward. DM says, decline them. Can not get me home from Seward. Plus it was only going to be 1500 miles for the week. Just what I told her would happen when I get up in this area. Then she sends me a pplan from Clorox going to Loveland. So I trust her and accept. Later I ask her if she is going to be able to get me home from Denver and that I am not in the mood to play games with the planners there. She sends back a message, working on it. I went off. Why are you sending me a pplan without first looking to see if can get out of there on a Friday. She says, do not worry. Right. Easy for her to say.

It might be more likely that a connector is bad.
All those things won't start if just one sensor goes bad.
The wiring harness or connector to the ECM, perhaps.
Hopefully there is someone good working on it. Electrical gremlins can be very difficult to locate.bab1369 Thanks this. -
I have read about it being hard to get out from there, but I don't think I've ever experienced it. I always get in and out with no problem.
Granted, in is for home time and out is anywhere... But from Miller/Coors there are loads going in every direction every day. Many others as well, like Safeway.
I've been sent north, east, south and west from there. This last time I had a plan the day before I got off home time.
Maybe your DM can pull a few strings and get you headed in the right direction. Think positive! -
t/a on i-90 ex 34 in washington(dont know what town lol). got the last available parking spot. shipper in alberdeen wa had me loaded b4 my appt time(got there 1.5 hrs early) and made it here. due to them closing the pass at 7:30pm for blasting, stopped here with 1.25 hrs left. sat alot the last few days but thats the norm since the so called payraise

And since the raise I've burned through my 70 with much longer loads than I've been used to in the past couple years.
Luck of the draw, I suspect.
I'm currently caught up in the Target surge out of PA, so shorter loads. (nice pay, however)
But ever since the pay raise I have had loads that are between 600-1400 miles, and averaging 450-600 miles per day.
It's like they are giving me the longer runs to avoid the higher pay per mile ratio's.
I like the longer runs, but hate being faced with doing a 34. With the new rules that 34 always seems to turn into a 48-52 because of the time I deliver that last load before the reset.Lepton1 Thanks this. -
