Not sure what it's like now but 1.5 years ago when I left TMC, the insurance was awesome. I am in a union now and don't pay for any of it but my insurance at my current job is crap compared to my TMC blue cross blue shield.

He'll of a return of an investment, the oil pressure sensor was bad, got a truck with over 1 million miles and the original sensor finally went out, err bank on the road heading towards Tampa

My sensor went out on me on my TMC truck. It was Friday and I was going home. Got stuck around the 230mm in Iowa on 80...for 10 hours! All for a hundred dollar part that takes literally 3 minutes to change. I unplugged it and had it out sitting on the tire for when the road repair guy got there, at 2 am.

We drove to Cordell Georgia to the pilot there to sleep and as we're going through the lot, the low oil pressure alarm is going off. It didn't go off at all on the way here, once the engine had a load placed on it it goes away, but soon as it idles, it comes back.

Well this morning we woke up at 5am and I finished the run into Tampa. We got to the consignee I had 25 minutes left on my drive clock from last-night. We were unloaded in less than 20 minutes and had our next load from a company who manufactures steel flooring plates for scaffolding that's heading to Alabama.

Had my final check call with my training coordinator, I'm supposed to call her on Friday for my travel arrangements which is a rental car from home to des Moines. I'll test out on Monday.

The past 5 weeks has been great, but this last week is tough. I find myself getting annoyed with the pet peeves that my trainer has. I'm ignoring them for the most part but I feel I'm ready for my test out, bills are starting to stack up, I need to start making some money and can't wait to get out there.

I will continue to keep this thread updated weekly with my experiences. Everyone with questions please feel free to ask what you want.

Thank you battleborn, milskired, and others who have assisted in mine and others questions.

Hey, thank YOU for posting a thread like this. Not many good ones like this for tmc. You only have a couple days left. Enjoy your home time and be ready and refreshed for Monday. I look forward to running into you on the road. Be safe, driver.

    Gunner75 Thanks this.
