They allow extra weight because of the apu, sort of like a grace amount... Not sure exactly what they allow...

I agree w/the heavier on the drives, but balanced as well.thats pretty easy when you can slide your tandems. I have a 51'step deck,10'6'' on the top 40'6'' on the bottom.the rear axle slides open to a 10'2''spread or closed it cali legal.if you don't put the load on the deck in the right spot, you might be screwed, depending on the states you have to go through.yesterday I was 10,200 steer-28400 drives-38600 on trl.all I can do is open the spread, and call it a day.(that was with it open).close axle was over 40,000 on the trl tandem.it rode like #it. the guys at the mill wont rearrange anything if their scale shows its legal.

I have always liked end a little more on steers always push in around 13.5 And bump that 34 on drives my ride is always more important than freight. Steer weight depends on truck and where it tells me it handles best I've had some like 14 and some that like10.5. but that truck is built to handle and ride best at 34 on drives

Guess I could slid 5th a bit pulling off some of the steers. Which is better ride little over or under for steers?
