I'm trying to figure out a good way to account for my time. Have you ever tracked your time spent waiting on a customer or stuck in slow lanes and factored that into your costs? Trying to find a way to quantify it.

Let's say you run 500 miles a day, 11 hours. And it cost you $1.20/mile to run the truck. 500 miles X $1.20= $600.
$600 / 11hrs = $54.55 per hour it costs to run.
That's how to get an average per hour of what it costs you.
If you pickup a delivery and have to wait 6 hrs. It will cost you $327.27.
Just an example. Your numbers may vary quite a bit.TopNotchTnT, RAGIN CAJUN and RollOut Transport Thank this. -
