Their terminals in Burlington NC the guys that pull reefers run all 48. They also pull end dumps, asphalt tanks and some LPG trailers but those guys stay on the east coast. All their trucks are 379's and w900's. I've never worked for them myself so I'm not sure of their pay, benefits, dispatch practices etc
Klown Thanks this. -
I'm not sure if thay hire out of Fla or not but its not gonna hurt me to give them a call and ask...

My mother started working for them a few months ago, I know they require 2+ years exp and the min age is 28. I'm pretty sure they only hire drivers around here but not 100%, but I could try to find out even more info about them

Does anyone know about the pay for drivers at Carolina tank lines on a yearly bases
-
I worked for them runing team, you drive a nice truck and you will pay for it. If you run solo all you will do is NE reffer to produce houses and they suck. Dont wast you time!!!

Thank you for tht info yeah I figured I talked some drivers I believe I'll stay where I'm at till something else comes across my plate

Nice looking trucks yes but on their last leg. 75% of fleet has over million miles. Then if you want to rest Carolina is the WRONG place. Basically, you drive all night northeast. Deliver about 6 am, then go on your break while you drive 100 miles or so to load. Once your loaded about 6 hours of your break is over then you try to sleep for about 2 or 3 hours. Then drive 500 miles that night. Then do it all over again the next night. Yes, they have computer logs but this thing called a SKIP button on the peoplenet. Oh and the dispatchers are completely heartless and treat you like cattle. Also trucks are set at 65 until you've been there forever then you can run 68 in cruise. Oh boy great company!

I am a driver for Carolina. I came here at 27 years old in 2008 with 6 years experience. I'm a third generation trucker also. Please don't go by what one angry driver says about us. This is a good place to work. We work hard here and they reward us for it. A job is a privilege not a right. I can say this is a seniority base company. I was a kid starting here the youngest driver they ever had, most of the guys here are old enough to be my dad and even my grand dad. So now I'm 33 and I'm sure you are older then me. Why did you even get a CDL? I got one cause I like the life I had as a child, what my dad and mom provided for me. I do that now for my three kids. My goal is to bust my ### every week to get home to my family, and to make sure they are taken care of. If I have to run the north east to do it, if I have to miss sleep to do it, #### it they get it.

Ps I run the east division which is solo. I noticed a team driver complained also. Teams just run California and back. I think they get every third week off and are also home on the weekend. Come on guys how hard could you have it?
