Trans Am Still

Hubbub, small town Minnesota, where all the women are young, busty, and blond!!!! Ok, ok.... so there not always young, may not even all be busty, but a lot of them are dang sure blond. HTQ would feel right at home up here. Only problem she would have is the snow. All anyone would ever be able to see, is a head sticking up from a snow bank!!!Lol

 

I had to read a lot this morning to get caught up. Plenty of activity in Florida these days.

For what it's worth, Pete, your Saux might have only gone 4-3 against my beloved Astros, but at least you can tell Yank fans they have gone 2-4 against us.

.....and my Astros, Texans, and Dallas Stars.

So many AL Easterners around here. (kidding)

With your offensive line you might need a little divine intervention......well.........maybe not this year in the AFC South.

HTQ, somewhere around page 124 someone said something about being mean to "the Queen" and I think for the rest of the day, no matter what, I'm going to have Point Blank's old song Mean To Your Queenie rocking in my head....lol. Not a bad deal, though. It beats most of the songs that get trapped in between my ears that never to go away.

Made it to Food Lion DC in Dunn NC with 20 minutes to spare. Sitting at the dock waiting 90 minutes so far. Left at 1030 last night, shut it down at 0630 for a snooze and backup at 0830 to finish the last 75 miles. Rather be lucky than good, but I guess I was both this time. Headed to the house for the weekend. No preplan yet. Guess they will wait until I am empty. My lasting impression of Minnesota. There are billboards across the state with a picture of a mans buttocks and crack partially exposed. Underneath it says "Cover your butt. Get a colonoscopy." Deuces.

 

I never know what that thing is up to. Sometimes it just goes of for no reason and sometimes I back into trailer hard and nothing.

Flash these drive cams will be in every company truck with in the next 10 years. These companies lose so much money in lawsuits when the driver is not to blame that the ones who don't have it now are just a lawsuit away from getting it

 

Roadkill you might have to wait(like me) for a long time for one of those teams to win a championship. My Rangers came close last year but Mets and Jets might be a while(25+ years, LOL) before they win one.

 

In Waterloo, Ia. have to wait for a couple of hours for the load to be ready. Had to play run around and try and guess which pick up numbers are right game. Actually went into facility at the Tyson and a few different people to get the right load. Of course Trans Am was like it should be this number. Oh wait try this number. Try this number. I always write every number on order cause you never know which one it will be. By the time Trans Am got back to me with correct number I already finished my meal at the Road Ranger Restaurant and was ready to take a nap.LOL Let them sweat if I got right number.

HTQ would need to learn the "ya hey der", "super duper" phrases of the area, they speak that stuff in other places, not just Fargo, Cranky probably hears in in Wisconsin also but yeah, I think she could fit right in!

 

Yeah. The Stars won one but honestly, I'm bandwaggoning them until/if ever Houston gets an NHL franchise. I'm not holding my breath on that. The Rockets won a couple, but I would have enjoyed it MUCH more if it were the (old) Oilers, Texans, or Astros winning a ring instead.

As for your Mets, we almost had you in 1986. #### that still smarts ...lol. Phillies in '80 too. I get that most folks don't like Houston teams but I don't get why (except for the Jerry Glanville "House Of Pain" Oilers). That one I get. Shoot, the Cardinals got so mad at the Astros winning the pennant in St. Louis they tore down Busch Stadium.....lol.

 

A road meal I have been enjoying recently, so I thought I would pass it on:



A few of the meatballs covered with a few tablespoons of sauce, cook it up in the paper bowl, make into a meatball sandwich. Costs about $8 and makes about 10 servings, add a side salad and enjoy! You can also just add some of the meatballs to a premade, microwavable bowl of pasta to fix it up:

 

The Queen's poor old head is turning white from being a member of the trucking community and the mother of teenagers.....so I would just blend right in!
