I haven't fully decided yet. It looks like I'll have at least 2 or 3 options but right now I'm leaning toward Allen Freight ( a part of PAM network ) or US Xpress. I'm still waiting on answers from a couple of others before I finally decide.

Sounds good. Question. What kind of food are you bringing with you?

I'm just going to wait till I get there and then make a run to Wally World or a local grocery store. It's my understanding that we have to supply everything so I'm not really sure whether there are even cooking utensils or a microwave available. I'll just go with the flow.

BTW, I just got the call from Allen Freight about an an hour ago. It looks like I'm good to go right after school and a fresh drug/physical. :biggrin_255:

Congrats! From what I saw on the google maps on the satellite view is that the back of the walmart right across the street from where we are staying. so we'll be pretty close to there. Im planning on bringing some cheap food like some Ramen noodles and PBJ

Shifty, what's the weather like up there this time of year? I'm not sure how much winter gear to pack.

Oh buddy you wont need winter gear. Today it was about 75-80 and HUMID. umm. Be sure to bring some rain gear because i think it might be raining some next week. But other than that i think we need to take a pair of jeans and boots but you definately wont need any winter gear. you might want to bring a light jacket depending on what kind of weather you like or not.anyways what kind of car do you drive so that i know if your there before me or not. I drive a little 93 blue and silver Dodge Dakota.

Thanks Shifty, that'll help me know what to pack. I'm not sure yet which car I'm driving up there. It'll either be a black 01 Civic or a black 01 BMW ( the wife's ).

I'm told to be prepared for some verrrrrrrryyyy loooonnnnnnggggg days. I got my DOT physical here but will do the pee test up there. I take blood pressure meds and wanted to be sure I could pass the physical before I drive 900 miles to Arkansas.
