Trimac over Schnieder is one thing. Trimac over Superior is a bit closer. That $1450 guarantee per week sounds good until you consider that it is for 7 days of work. That works out to a little over $200 per day. We make around $150 per day in layover pay the way its set up. Out 3 weeks at a time is the deal breaker for me. Ethos do you make $1450 for a week of home time?

Also, it's not 3 weeks out its 2 minimum. I just run 3 or 4 out by choice. You can take as much hometime as is reasonable. You could run three and take a week off if you wanted. Some guys run more and take like 2 weeks off. Basically we are product dedicated right now, meaning we are hauling the same product out of the same shipper but to different destinations. Really easy gig right now, we are guaranteed this run for the next 6 months.
Just so everyone knows, the minimum is just mileage, the accessorial pay is separate. My average take home is over 1400 a week. -

However, from my conversations with Ethos, Trimac would be one of the first companies to get my application if I found myself seriously looking to change jobs. Everything about them seems just as good as I feel Superior is. -

Ethos, would you happen to know what the local chemical guys at the Lansing IL terminal are making starting out if they don't have tank experience? They've been posting ads on indeed like crazy for local runs for that area or in Burbank, IL.
I'd personally consider both trimac and superior carriers in Markham, IL but I don't believe superior offers local over here and I never really see them in daycabs. -

I'm just looking at every option out there.
