Boy, got that right. I'd much rather be way off by myself to take a 10, turn off the engine and open the vents. Nothing like a little fresh breeze blowing in and the sound of crickets.
One of my favorite nights last October, watching the sun set over the Sierras on the way up 395. Found a secluded parking space way off the highway. Nothing but coyotes.Attached Files:

Somewhere east of Hays, KS. Was going to Salina but the wind seemed to pick up some so thought best, park it till morning. Went to get my load this morning and knew that the trailer would need a fast sweep. Well, no more sweeping out the trailers at Coors. I had no broom so off I went to the T/A. Guess what, they no longer sell brooms there. Luckily there was another driver standing around and heard this so he walked out to his truck and let me borrow his. Finally do my loaded call and said running late for t-call. Call in, told do not worry about it. This is starting to get real old. The load has from Sunday morning until Tuesday to get to West Allis. Got a pplan at least, load on the yard going to Findlay, Ohio for Monday. Hyper focus, and high dollar. Best Buy. Well, that is only 120 miles from my home. My DM told me today that the dedicated account that she was trying to get me on, Coors/Miller there in Denver. No thanks. You can keep it.

Still in Chambersburg, PA doing Target loads.
One guy I talked to has been doing it for the past month, so I'm wondering how long it will last.
So far I've had loads every day.
Also, so far, I've only been paid straight miles - no $230 per day on the last paycheck. (That was only for 2 days)
I've noticed that they have not emptied out the pay sheet box since I've been here, so that is probably why. They use that to calculate the remainder of the pay.
They need to catch up. -

Home after a successful early drop at the Petsmart DC in Phoenix.
Since Phoenix was underbooked (too many trucks) I decided to add an extra day to my 34. -
Talk to Shane in the morning. He'll make sure that it's set right.
If you ever spend the night at the Sheetz on Kriner Rd. (at exit 14), stop by and say hi... I'm the one that always parks facing the road, up next to the light pole.
