no not a journey man machinist. I was was working at a place for 17 years running one of a kind machines, i was then layed off. so in order to stay in my industry i would have to get my papers and get certified which would take 4 years. I have always had a fondness for trucking so i want to get into trucking.

With CNC experience you can still find good paying jobs in a machine shop without a ticket. Especially if you know how to set up the machines. But if you have your heart set on trucking, good luck.
