Really? It must vary considerably from one terminal to the next, but I drove linehaul with my hubby out of Parsons, KS for 2 years (and wish I didn't have to take these meds for my medical condition, causing my inability to drive a tricycle let alone a truck!), and most of the terminals we went to the people (dispatchers, operations managers, terminal managers) were all very congenial, actually we were treated like family, never a stranger to them.
We never had to go to the Tonawanda terminal, and it sounds like I should count my lucky stars! Sorry you had such a sour experience with them, but that's not how it is at the majority of the terminals.

How hard is it to get hired with this company? I have a terminal near where I live. I don't have much experience ( I'm a rookie) have about 5 months driving class A for a soft drink company. I attended a very reputible Class A driving school in my area, but none of these companies seem to want to give a guy a chance. It's very frustrating and I'm about ready to just give up my cdl and go back to doing something else.

Probably not...If u have a felony, u won't get hired..

5 months, is not enough experience period..But, it depends on the Mgr at whatever location, u are trying to hire on at..
