That Stuckeys isnt even a truck stop, I think. There's maybe room for 5 trucks in the dirr lots in the back. There's places up and down the road that are lightyears better. But this place was maybe a half mile to the customer and I needed to coast my way there ;)

At the Flying J Just North of Houston. This place was standing room only at 13:00. I hate how insane the truck traffic is in Houston. My DBL wanted me to take my restart at the Houston Dryvan yard. I took one walk around the place and said ,"No Way!" One shower, one vending machine. 3 chairs in the 'Lounge'. no internet and nowhere near enough to safely walk to get food and something to drink and I also needed to get 2 loads of laundry done. I was going to hit the Pilot just North of 69, but the ramp was backed all the way to the freeway and there was a line to even get in there. NOPE! I'm probably going to get scolded for driving 25 miles to get up here, but oh well. If their 'Operating Centers' didn't suck so bad, then I would have stayed there.

If I were you I'd laugh in their face if they expect you to take a restart at a drop yard.

I have done so before and actually would have enjoyed it, had there been a gas station nearby so I could get soda and food. I enjoy the quiet and there was some interesting places nearby to practice photography. But they didn't have internet there either and I need to study for my hazmat recert.

Plus I could have stole and MT! LOL. I had to BT out of there. But at least I had parking at the Truckstop. This place was PACKED

What looks like a brand spanking new Love's, exit 127, I-35 north of Laredo.

Another live unload en la manana, then hopefully something to get me somewhere besides Laredo to reset...
