I know they used to do trailer inspections on every truck that came in mainly the ones that are going to be dropped at the forwarding places, that end up taking them across the border so they can come back with no lights and gladhand seals.

Will be off of 35 in about 11 miles. Yes, it inhaled with GREAT force getting this far. Construction, traffic, random rainstorms (used to this part at least, TX is home, remember? Just hadn't driven a semi in it before!), traffic, construction, etc. Got my live unload in Eagle Pass first, dunno where from there yet. Not far, I'll only have about 6 hours left on my 70...

Laredo isn't a bad place to reset, try Danny's it's a Mexican restaurant and very good. If your doing a reset then you won't have far to go to get next load. ,And yes they still inspect every trailer that comes in the yard but bobtail is a breeze to get in.

35 south is bad in the morning, 35 north from Austin through Waco is horrible in the afternoon. Best bet is to get north through Austin before 6 or 7 am and it's a nice open cruise.

Will roll out of Laredo Friday a.m. Taking a loaded trailer into the OC, guess I get to get inspected. How far is Danny's?
From Denton to San Antonio, 35 runs through town. All of them...lol. South of SA, it was awesome.
