Why didn't you just go to terminal? It's just an inspection bay when u enter, they check in out under and all that of the truck. It's basically a Melton border check point kind of thing, if you have something that shouldn't be hide it well cause they check it all.

Did someone tell you that you are delivering in laredo? 99% of the time we have to go to the terminal for inspection and most likely drop the trailer there for the Mexican carrier to come pick up.
You may want to ask in the morning. -
My instructions are to deliver first..
-
If that's the case, you'll come in to the inspection bay and they'll inspect the truck/trailer for any problems and write up a shop order if it's needed. They will take a peek inside the cab/sleeper and side boxes/tarp box/headache rack for contraband. You'll go in and drop the trailer in the lot on the left and bobtail to the shop or bobtail parking.
Go into the main building and sign in so that youre on board. From there, you'll grab your badge, permit book, medical card, long form medical and your qualcomm instruction card and go to the safety department which is in a trailer outside the main building. You'll see either Pat or Ruben in there (i prefer to deal with Pat) and you'll go over your logs/violations. May get a random drug test, and they'll probably sit you at the computer for training videos if you haven't done them.
Safety will clear you and you'll go back to the dispatch window for a load, they will probably tell you that they will call you when your load is ready. Secure, tarp if you need to or pay the Mexican tarping companies $20 and they will do it for you. Fuel and head out the gate! -
You should be a story teller. I suck with words and explanations don't come out as well.Mrh2008 Thanks this.

Lol. I would if I could get paid for it!

I'm in Fruita CO. Gotta be up at 0230 to make denver delivery at 0800 and I can't sleep!
My weather app says there's a chance of snow tonight in the rockies. I guess I'll find out if that's true or not! Hope I get a Trane load tomorrow. I wouldn't mind railroad ties either. I was out there like 2 weeks ago and got a tarped slinky load from rocky mountain steel. -
God how much padding did u need for that not to rip them up. Must of been specialty slinky, the 2 I've had didn't need tarp.

when you pull in you will get inspected in the inspection bay. After that take you bills in the office. Hand them to who ever is working the window. They will let you know if you will deliver it or just drop it off. After unloaded go see safety/compliance to get cleared. Once good go back to window to get places on the board to get a load outta there. They have wifi, showers, a van you can. Check out to make any local runs. Much like Tulsa.

You can stay at T/S and deliver first but still have to go back to terminal to get a load.
