Yes it does but, he will only be swinging the trailer until he gets in front of it. OK, gab a pen if your not driving, hold the pen straight up and down, put your one finger anywhere on the pen, swing the pen, move your finger to another spot, swing the pen the same distance, both ends of the pen moves the same distance. Does that make sense? Please don't think I'm arguing.
Is it possible to park from this position?

naaa truckers don't argue LOL. i see what you mean, im thinking, i guess it all depends on tractor clearance. alot harder to tell(for me) not being behind the wheel.

I couldn't make that pen trick work in my head, so I tried it with a pencil .. and get a different answer. If I hold the pencil by the very end (tandems all the way back) that end of the pencil barely moves. If I hold the pencil farther up, the end of the pencil moves a fair bit. In fact, the farther toward the 'tractor' the 'tandems', the more the 'doors' move laterally for any given lateral motion of the tractor end.
Obviously I'm missing something, here. -
I can picture this in my mind easily...coming out of the hole. But backing in, can't be done with 1 or 2 pull ups. Unless he was set 100% from the start. And I don't see that in this picture.
That's (your post) what I was refering to in my original post.
Yes, I see that room. But I also see that he still has to continue the swing, to get in a position so he can come back under the trailer, another several feet still.
He's at a point he needs to start working back under the trailer now in the picture. And will not be able to come full under, untill he is completely past the blue truck in front. Which he will have to come completely past, to do this. His tail will be into the silver hood, if he can not pull up, and swing the cab.
Not gonna happen from that angle without MANY pull ups...my opinion only. I'm not saying it can't be done, although I have my doubts. Only that this is not a simple 1 or 2 pull up issue.
This is a work your %$# off parking spot.
