Location for the night

I went to that Home Depot once. It wouldn't be a bad place if it wasn't for the idiots at the guard shack and those schneider yard jockeys that have their head all up in the rectal area.

 

At the Dust Bowl for my reset. Chatted with an IC who is here, and a couple of company drivers, went to Lin's buffet for dinner...maybe Danny's tomorrow since I know where it is now

 

It took me over 2 hrs to drop a load there. 10 min to drop and the rest of the time waiting to get in and out. That'd on my do not delivery list.

 

Took a trainee there a few weeks ago and had the same thing happen. He finaly understood why I was pushing hard to get there - parked with 15 on the 14

 

Been there, done that, got the T-shirt..... No thanks.....

 

Danny's is just past the flyover about 2 miles from the OC and HD is about 5 miles away. use the company minivan

 

The yard trucks have to move 12 trailers an hour or get wrote up. that's why they are moving so fast

 

Had a trailer dropped in a door with collapsed landing gear. Good OLD TA948xxx trailer. Yard truck was left underneath it with nose of trailer sitting on the frame rail. And yeah, the check in/out process there is a joke. Luckily there was only one other guy in line when I got there. Then a self important schneider dedicated driver cut around in front of me and entered the outbound gate, then a useless express bobtail cut the line and blew around me while I was waiting for the guy to move. Guards are fine in my opinion, not their fault there is one entry lane for 50000 trucks waiting to get in and out. The drivers there, on the other hand, can act like self important aholes.

 

The dedicated drivers have priority. Hate the one in Winchester va. Dam jb drivers just scoot right in.

 

Just got a load going to the home depot. Yeah.
