Does ffe have ltl drivers out of Burlington NJ? I was thinking I saw day cabs running around my area. If they do does anybody on here work out of the Burlington nj terminal? How hard is it to transfer from the otr division?

Ah...being careful what you wish for. I drive otr and talk to a lot of our day cab drivers throughout the 48. It is like going from working the night shift,(no real bosses) to working days. ( the pain in the ### bosses). the work load is intense, take into consideration another is out sick and two on vacation.
I have done some local runs when at the terminal. Sucks.

Ltl in this area is always going to be crappy because most deliveries go to NY. So I take it from these answers that they do run ltl out of burlington? Does anybody know if the pay scale is different? Dint mind working my butt off as long as I'm getting paid for it.

I'm thinking ffe might be a good choice if I could get inti ltl. I have my cdl already but no experience so hopefully can do their refresher course. Would like ti go over the road for about a year then go local around here. Then eventually either into hauling gas or food service for the big bucks! So it would be nice if one company took care of the first 2 parts of my career. Thanks to everybody that posts info for me. I appreciate it.

Yeah, there's both local and regional LTL drivers out of the Burlington terminal. Don't think it would be that difficult to transfer over from OTR. A fellow Academy classmate of mine went straight to LTL in NJ once he was done the refresher course and training, and that was over a year ago, so I doubt that will be an issue either.
