I'm at TA outside of Kansas city MO. Drop a load in salt lake on Monday. Got a preplan to load at sunset rail in nephi UT. And go to Cayuga falls OH. Got to shipper and the load is going to Cayuga IN 3 total stops. One in Iowa and 2 in Indiana. Was a cluster getting it fixed after-hours. But very easy very light load. Getting 9.7 MPG so far for that last 1200 miles.

Got a call about doing a survey today. Don't tell them the truth. My dm is hot right about now. And for some strange reason my card did not want to work at three different pumps at the Petro I was told to fuel at. I'll be at the Petro in dodge city al until I get my ten hrs in and then I'll go home two days late but asked to come back on my original return date. I THINK NOT.

I got a load from the denver area to Warshington. 3 stops. The electronic arrow signs that are used in construction zones and a message board.
And the bad news. My truck is sick. I have a feeling that it's not going to be good. When I'm pulling hard in 10th gear, my clutch will ocasionally slip. I let off and ease back on and it's fine. It's happened like 5 times today. It's only happened once in 9th gear. Hopefully I just need to get it adjusted or something, but i have no clue about clutches.
I've been at it since 0200 and didn't feel like dealing with a shop today, I'll be calling it in when I wake up and see what Melton wants me to dom -
No sick truck allowed. Mine is fresh and clean , got her washed did the windows, vacuum Armour all and air fresheners.

Got my load assignment for the weekend. Pickup at Western Extrusions in the morning for a single delivery in Los Angeles on Tuesday morning. First time to WE in the year I've been with Melton. Sorta not looking forward to it based on all of the stories. But it will make for a good week.

Not ALL of the WE loads are bad. I've only been there once, and my load was a single stop load 4' tall 8' wide and 30' long. Worst part of that load was waiting for the tire man to come out and change a trailer tire that was completely flat.

It's only as bad as you make it. Only time I'm in Texas is Laredo and Houston area never near it.
