Figured. I would check in. I'm gonna be pulling one for the winter months I found out. Long story but the owners in a bind, as of September 7 I will be unhooked from my pot and hooked on to a hopper through April 1. If there's something extenuating or he gets this local stuff covered I'm going straight back to my pot. Atleast I get the "new" hopper a 2012 Stoughton 42' (I think) air ride. They bought it for me and I pulled the #### out of it about a year then went back to flatbeds then back to cattle.

Welcome back to hoppers for a while. Supposed to be a big fall harvest everywhere so hopper demand should be up for local and regional.

I hope so we are on high pressure standby I just want to get to work. All the rain has pushed our harvest back several weeks.

We had the best barley crop that many farmers have never seen. Corn isn't going to be that good just didn't get hot enough... Had plenty of water thou!

The harvest has started here in NE Arkansas. The rain however is coming just right to keep it from going full speed. Had some milo, corn, rice and peas so far with peas being the best paying. Course the lines are growing now which is to be expected. The DOT is weighing every grain wagon it see's which is expected. So all in all I think we are right on course to have a successful harvest.
