I am thinking of starting a mattress factory so I can have something to fall back on.
HometimeQueen, Panhandle flash, gntorres61 and 1 other person Thank this. -
^^^^ Or you could buy a few trucks, hire Pete as your safety director( he would weed out the deadwood FAST), hire the rest of my kids to run your trucks, pay great wages and benefits, and sit back and collect the profits!
.....Maybe even buy a company jet!
dennisroc and Panhandle flash Thank this. -
Passed there today heading to the Publix whs in Jacksonville.
HometimeQueen Thanks this. -
I'm thinking that just might work
Haha ! If I knew more about the business I would buy a truck and be O / O but I think maybe company driver first to get exp.

Maybe a 1970 Freightliner with 5 million miles and bald tires and someone to finance me for 40 years.
Or a good lease with TA

Lets see. Got swapped out in Baltimore on my Baxter Health care load on Tuesday took an empty to Geltstadler in Spring Grove PA with a paper load to Des Moines dropped today. Shuttled back to Davenport IA this evening. Head to Cargill in Beardstown IL for dead piggies tomorrow which go to Walmart DC in Henderson NC Mondaay. Tuesday pickup a load in Mooresville NC headed for DG in Ardmore OK. Then presumably a backhaul to NC. Eyes are heavy. Good night.

I'm still in Colorado. I went and stole some guys trailer at Kenworth ((per dispatch)). God only knows what he was thinking as I drove away with it LOL. Was to pick up at Paltech for a feeder load to Cargill in Dodge. Got to Paltech and they cancelled the rest of the loads for today and tomorrow because they have a huge shortage and are placing priority on their dedicated customers. Perfect. Fine by me. I had no qualms about losing that load to mess up my preplan because I didn't really like that load anyway. Two stopper that would have me sitting on barely 1400 miles by lunchtime Tuesday which sucks pretty badly. Especially since this paycheck is the one that will be in hand for my youngest sons second birthday. I need a strong week. I came in to the Flying J here in Aurora to hang out and get dispatched... On the freaking TN load. Now instead of a feeder load to Dodge it's just a deadhead. Ugh. Gonna hold my 001 and sleep on it. Will discuss it with my DM in the morning before I move. Drop dead is 0800 Sunday. Both stops deliver Tuesday. It might be worth taking if I can move with it and swap it off down the road.

In Sullivan, Mo. tonight. Took much needed shower and went straight to bed. Didn't make it as far as I wanted to. Stopped at wally world and that took way longer than planned but got a lot of stuff.
The ant. in the truck works good enough. Getting more channels now, got 21 last night. I got a dvd player, I like movies way more than TV anyway. jungho I have netflix but have to be careful as movies takes up a lot of gig and my laptops dvd player is broken but do watch Rules of Engagement on netflix.
Should have load delivered tomorrow. Next load Friona, Tx to Brighton, Mi. I would bet Napolean after that but we will see.
Be safe out therejungHo Thanks this. -
Cranky good luck with your move. Hopefully it will be as stress free as possible. Also good luck with your new place. I hope you and Patty have a great weekend
