Trans Am Still

I did get a second android phone up and running. I have used it on a test, suction cupping the 2nd phone to the blind side of the trailer and viewing the output on my regular phone on the dash. It works!

It is raining right now, so I don't want to mess with it, but I'll try to post a video and more information as I work with it some more.

 

They swap us so much just to mess with our heads and show us who is in charge. LOL. Seriously there are many reasons. With new drivers in training companies sometimes the problem is they do not know how to manage their clocks, once you start your 14 hour clock is running and sometimes new drivers take extra long breaks when they really can't afford to do so. Sometimes it is a breakdown, sometimes shipper gets load out late or there is a bad accident that the highway system was shutdown. Many reasons.

My AC broke today but the APU's system still works. Messaged them and was told that most KW's are closed till Tuesday. GRRR. Next few days are going to be rough. Hopefully this load is ready to go so I can get north as soon as possible. Will look up KW in Amarillo just to make sure.

Went to Beardstown Cargill expecting a live load and a 12 hour wait. When I got there, it was a drop and hook and I was gone in 65 minutes. In Spiceland IN at the Flying J. I woke up early thinking I would need to sleep while I waited for that load, but the load was waiting for me! As a result, I had to grab a nap at the Indiana welcome center when heavy eyes came a calling. Try to plan for one thing, and something completely different happens. Uy Vey. Welcome to trucking. Deuces.

 

*sighs* Just can't trust our queen now, can we?? I have XM in my truck and know that ya'll have sirius. Have any of you noticed lately, that the roaddog channel is going off the air from 7 to 11 pm each night for the past week or so? Also, Laugh USA has started that? Just curious. Can't get a straight answer out of the "listener care" yahoos and getting really frustrated, trying to deal with them.

 

Me! What did I do???? I'm the good Queen! XM is not part of my kingdom ......you'll have to talk to someone in another country for that! I did try some research to see what the problem might be .....and all that I found was complaint after complaint, but not about the channels that you are having problems with. Their website doesn't list any program disruptions for those channels either. Sorry, can't help you with this one.

 

I asked you, Oh mighty queen, to ask the TA forum for input. By the time I got here, everything was back on the air.

 

Ooops! I just went back and looked and yes, you did ask me to ask the forum .....I missed it....I am a bad Queen. The King is home and my thoughts were preoccupied. .....I think I need some minions!

Have fun with that, Jaso! That's the KW that had me stuck there for four days for an "easy" fix, screwed up my cb speaker, and governed my truck down to 62. And then after I went back and told them to fix it, they "fixed" it, didn't do a thing and never made the first note about the cb speaker which means it cost ME money to have Olathe fix THEIR mistake. I have yet to go through OKC since April or else I would have gone back in their and ripped someone a new butt hole.
