Found it. You have one full year to use earned vacation. When employment ends, you're paid 1/2 of any unused vacation.

I found I never really had a problem with it. The problem I had was I had too many days off. When I broke my foot last year, I had 2 weeks vacation PLUS 27 days off earned. And that was after I took 3 weeks off....(broke foot at end of a 3 week vacay) So the vacation days off I was never worried about, and I just had them cut me a check for the pay. You don't have to take the days to get the pay.

Of course your are referring to the vacation days right? The days off earned that you have banked, if you don't take them, you don't get paid for them..

Was thinking the same thing, but think a lot of people just took this weekend as home time. Hey Mrh, someone down in Laredo told me I should put in for layover pay for today(Monday)..I'm sitting outside of Cleveland for a delivery on Tuesday morning, I could have delivered this thing yesterday if I had to, and they said that in these cases we should but in for layover pay. Has anyone here over done that??

You can try to get layover pay, but i doubt it will happen. It's $50 for the first 48 hours that you are available and not dispatched on a load. Pretty much, layover is a joke. We do get $30 holiday pay for today!

I'm at home. Had 8 days took them for kids birthdays, apparently around Christmas is a good time for us since all kids are early September. My truck is dead as a door knob but whatever I'll jump it off the day before I come out and let a/c run full on to keep it charged. Yes they know about it, I've had to been jumped a few times but refuse to change batteries for some reason.

My qc mount broke too so I'm gonna figure a way to mount it back up before I leave. The dash cracked and it fell.

Hi Dante, you do realize that this is a Melton forum right?? Doubt anyone here can give you that type of advice. Don't take this the wrong way, but I will give you a little advice though, try writing out all your words, you're not texting..people get lazy writing, in the future they wont know how to write proper English.

But I guess if your're writing from a phone ignore my advice...lol
