I'd choose USA over USX.
Put your location on your profile so we know the hiring area you live in.jethro712 Thanks this. -

i worked for usa truck for 6 months in 2007 but went through divorce and had custody of my son. usxprss and usa had decent mileage pay no sliding pay scale, and like med ins. usa carries. no place is perfect but seems to be a good starting point.

I see you are in Granite city, Il. Have you went to the Flying J, Pilot, or the TA there in your area and talked to some drivers from different companies? Might not hurt.

USX is a good company for teams; USA is good for solo.
Do you have any endorsements; there's big money in having endorsements.
You haven't driven since 2007? If so, then look at Millis Transfer; good company and good paychecks.
Schneider has a good deal; they pay for private CDL school. Schneider Bulk (tanker division) is a real money maker for new drivers.jethro712 Thanks this. -
OK guys i live in NC, what would be a OK starter company for me. I have to looked at USA trucking. I tried cargo transporters and didn't work out. So any suggestions on some small companies and midsized companies that Pat more than 30 miles who takes students.
