Parked at a customer just outside Syracuse, NY. Live unload here in the a.m., then taking the rest of this trailer to a D/H in CT. Hoping for a load in a westerly direction...will suggest that strongly to my DBL tomorrow...

So your dbl lets you tell him/her where you want to run? That must be nice.
-
Not really, but I think he thinks it's easier to get me pointed in the right direction than to listen to me if I'm not!

And it was Support Shaft that sent me over here, not my DBL... I love the miles - gimme another run like this, only in the opposite direction!TennMan Thanks this. -
I see. The best way to control when and where you run is to go IC. I don't have any say in where I run.TennMan and mickimause Thank this.
-
Yes, IC is the best way, I'm not quite ready to make that leap just yet though. I have never refused a load, and ask politely when I do ask for something.
When I'm told yes, and then they (they = support shaft) mess it up, I tend to get a bit cranky. And vocal. And methinks my DBL doesn't care for that. I make him more money when I'm running than when I'm on the phone complaining...TennMan Thanks this. -
She said support Shaft lol
mickimause and harlycharly55 Thank this. -
Headed to Amsterdam and then Utica in the morning, I'll wave as I pass.....mickimause Thanks this.
