its that dang logo, when they see it they automatically assume your brand new. I dont like having an audience, only been a couple times I wouldnt of minded a little help but I always get it done on my own and these days I do not back in front of many drivers since I hardly stop at truck stops except for the occasional Joes travel plaza in Westley, CA when im feeling like getting some Carls Jr or when im backing in at the dc in the row next to where all the bobtails park waiting.

 

Sealy, TX. Hope that this wind changes or it is going to be a very long drive to NC. No sooner that loaded call sent in, a pplan, and declined as fast as I could. Pick up on Friday 23 miles away and deliver in Portage, IN on the 7th. 683 miles for 2 days and get to a area that has crap freight, Gary on a Sunday, and GLR.

 

troutdale or. was able to tcall that load.now have a local for tomorrow at 0800. will only have about 3.5 hrs to work with tomorrow. delivery is in portland, 20 miles away. strong winds from stanfeild or to just after the last scale b4 you hit troutdale (up to 30 mph). btw....learned mt lesson the last time i wanted a tcall, didnt even mention about getting this trip on this weeks pay period. so instead of 550 mile, i;ll get an additional 2600 plus the local load.

 

i drove to the terminal and found some other trucking company is now there. i didnt follow the qc nav since i thought i knew where it was. havent been here since it moved next door

Yep it moved its nicer building but parking still sucks donkey balls

 

I visited Troutdale for the first time last week. I thought the parking lot was laid out well and wasn't crowded, but then it isn't the busy time of year yet. New concrete and a nice facility.

 

Everyone knows that nobody stays at Swift for more than six months!
