I do there pay is not that great for ag alot of waiting time they they don't pay for
-
It's a good starter job. They haul a lot of harvest products...grapes, tomatoes, grain, nuts...and I've also seen them pulling chip trailers.
A lot of their work is seasonal but they seem to stay busy.
Like most ag work it won't pay much but it's a great way to get experience, -
They pay bythe load cucumbers are averaging out to be 10 dollars an hour which is minimum wage. tomatoes are per load and average $100 a day if you go down south and 31 a load going to Brentwood doing 3-4 loads a day. Peaches are fun except lifting heavy corner irons above your head to tie down cables. They just changed grapes to per load

Running out of woodland and modesto pays better than out of the home terminal in lodi
-
Like I said, a good starter job and a place to build experience. A lot of drivers in California got their start haulling harvest products and then moved on to something better.
LOL...driving on levee roads in the dark while you're looking for the loaded trailers builds character. Keep telling yourself that.
