My road test went well. It took about 2 months to get hired after my 2nd interview because they will only hire when they get enough people to have a training class at the home office in altoona. So be patient it just takes a while at cli to get hired.

    Cherrysoda Thanks this.

Thanks man, ya when they called, they said they had a training class ready to go for november. I think me and cli would make a great match, not sure what to expect in the second interview tho. Just plan on being myself and see what happens. Cant wait !

How are you guys doing at Sheetz? I'm looking at applying at the satellite yard in Reading, pa. Can you tell me anything about them? Pm me if you'd like. I can't find to much that's recent but I think it'll be an awesome fit for me.

Hey bud, Sheetz finally called me last week to offer me a position. Of course I said yes with no hesitation, put my 2weeks in with fedex and go for training sept 20th in pa. It took me about 2 and a half years to get on but I did it and can't wait to get started. From what I see and the drivers I've talked to they are one of the best companies out there to work for. The benefits, pay, and safety bonuses put fedex to shame.

    FreightHumper and Blackshack46 Thank this.

Sounds great driver. Do you know specific numbers? Like pay wise? Hourly? Weekly? I'm working on getting my hazmat. Already got twic and tanker experience. Got fueling experience from the service. So learning how to deliver fuel to gas stations not in combat should be a breeze lol. Win for FARPS!

As soon as I have my HM I'll be applying. 2 years is a long time, but the situation I'm in now, ain't tooooooo bad, but I can do a hell of a lot better. Especially with a new member to the family. I'm done with this otr stuff. It isn't for me anymore.

If you don't wanna spill the beans in public shoot me a pm please. Or if you don't know the info yet, I can wait patiently.

Just remember not to open fire on the 4wheelers that block you in. No matter HOW tempting it is!

    LOL.

Congrats on Sheetz Cherrysoda, two years is a pretty insane wait. Did you keep bugging them or was that from your initial interview/application?

    Blackshack46 Thanks this.
