Walmart here I come!

Thanks NYVET - today is exactly 2 weeks - hope the call is coming soon.

 

2 more Drivers in Sealy quit'. Heard Sealy DC is looking for 6 more drivers to hire... So might be a oppurtunity for someone looking to Drive for Walmart

 

It was almost 3 weeks after the CBC and Employer Background came back, they are waiting for one guy to finish up with his paperwork.

 

Thanks Bill, just trying to figure out how long the torture lasts!!! Been on pins and needles waiting for the call. HR told me about 2 weeks, but since you just went through, thought you might have some insight.

 

From what I have read here every DC works differently, I was wondering what was going on, they each try to get as many canidates as they can for orientation to start, hope this helps and sounds like Welcome to Walmart!

 

wonder why anyone would quit? any insight?

 

I have a Idea why". But it would only be speculative. So better not say.. One driver had about 5 years the other a new hire..

 

Could be many reasons why someone would quit. One guy I went to orientation with quit three days into his mentor training. A lot of guys leave local jobs to take this one, and maybe realize that being on the road is not for them. And of course you have guys who do not like to follow rules and want to do things their way. I would be very interested in hearing your speculation however. Aforementioned reasons notwithstanding, I'm always curious as to why someone would quit a job like this.
