I will admit my husband does a greater portion of the backing, and coupling. But he insists. He's crazy about backing, and he freaks out when I back in my car. Mind you I've never been in an atfault accident since I was 18 and I've had the same car for like 10 years, there isn't a #### thing I cannot do in that car. And I am a superb driver. Yet everytime I put the car into reverse the boy about has a heartattack double checking every five second that I'm not going to hit something. I almost have half a mind to ask him to get out and wait till im done so he can stop freaking out. So you can imagine about how he acts when I put the truck in reverse lmao.

Mr. John called me an asked about a friggen passport the other day, and kinda suggested I get one. Like... um hello 379 cannot go into Canada? o.0 Am I wrong?

I've met husband/wife teams that refuse to drive on Sunday for religious reasons.

    I hope they were fired...

I've met husband/wife teams who refuse to drive at night.

I prefer driving at night, less idiots on the road... well except for me... my biggest problem at night is deer, and other truckers that REALLY should be pulled over sleeping cause they cannot stay in their lane.

I've met husband/wife teams who have never been across the GW bridge. Let alone know where it's at.

We haven't been to NY city at all, period. But we have been close to it.

I've met husband/wife teams who have never unloaded a truck, ever.

My hubby did once, and they paid him like 10.00 so he vowed never to again... (and they #####ed about payign the 10.00 lol)

I've met husband/wife teams who sat in a truckstop for 16 hours, while I live loaded their trailer 50 miles down the road. Because they weren't required to pick up loads. Yet they were paid to wait for me.

I wish I was paid to wait for loads....

I've met husband/wife teams who run dedicated lanes with dedicated accounts, from day one.

I keep asking about dedicated they keep saying we are fine where we are...

I've met husband/wife teams that start at a higher base rate than 10 veteran drivers, by as much as 15%. Even if they just finished school and training.

We make .36 - .42 a mile depending on whether we are on Team Werner or loaded.

I've met husband/wife teams that complained about running too many miles in a week. They covered 5000 total. So they didn't have time to do any sight seeing...duh.

We ran 6660 or something like that last week, and teh week before we were close to that. I want to do 8k a week! I do plenty of sight seeing from teh road... there are somethings I wish I never seen... like that naked guy in the minivan >.>

    Nope, you're not.

However, he'll get you a new truck if you get him your passport... :biggrin_25524: Fair tradeoff?:biggrin_2559:

They told me I needed to get one and I said, just pay for it and I'll consider getting one... John"Well... Uh... We're sorry, but we don't pay for passports."
Me Well... uh... I'm sorry, but neither do I!:biggrin_25525:

Less than 2 weeks later he asked again, through David... I said we'd already been through this and they both said they didn't recall. PASS! not PASSPORT!

That's illegal. A company could be forced outta business over firing anyone based around that reason.

Pff he can keep his new truck, theres nothing that wrong with ours... well...

    except the dented fender
    missing front mirror
the power mirrors only sometimes work
    the door locks dont work
I need 2 different keys one for driver door one for rest of truck
    the alignment is way off
    the wheel points to right
    it says werner on it
    the bunk light dont work
it has no way to turn bunk speakers off (hello wtf? team truck... want to sleep not listen to crappy music)
it for some reason wont go over 65 unless downhill with heavy load :biggrin_25523:

Oh... and it only has 1 fudging electrical outlet in the back wtg?!

Post 134, irrespective of whatever policy Werner may have.

The point is, this thread is about WERNER, not passport law... If Werner policy is written to be more specific or stringent than the actual law, that's perfectly allowed by law. So in this case, Werner policy is all that really matters...
