Parked Here for the Night

I'm fixing to head out of here again this morning. The load I picked up in Tucson from U Haul yesterday was one U Box It crate that only takes up 5 feet of trailer. Since its not due in Ft. Smith, AR until Monday, they had me bring it back to the yard so they can find another load to go on the trailer. Shouldn't be hard, we ship to Arkansas all the time.

I think I'm picking up at CEVA here in El Paso going to Federal Way, WA. Saw CEVA on the load confirmation when I was talking to my dispatcher when I got back.

 

Yeah its a cluster but I got a dock pretty quickly.

 

Man I really haven't. I know it's affected all of us. But we are gonna survive it best we can. I heard there were some guys trying to get them into court asap to freeze some assets till it's settled. It's really been kept quite for as big a deal as it is.

Well it's not that we go fast all the time it's more the hours we run. Both are outside the the box of legal, but speed will get you looked at quicker than random checks

At home and done till Sunday night. No moonlighting this weekend and no work to be done on the ol bucket of bolts. So just relaxin. Although the $3200 check the guy handed me when I dropped his trailer off last weekend was pretty #### nice, wouldn't mind 1 or 2 of those a month
