That is a handy link as well, but I will mention that I clicked on AR and there were only a handful of sites posted with fuel prices. The cheapest of which was $3.699. notice above wore out shared where I can get fuel @ $3.529 and $3.429 with a CITGO card. Do you see why I am frustrated with these sites and feel that a site with peer input and evaluation would be more beneficial ? Rather than listing all the truckstops in a chain and all the high priced stops along with the less expensive ones, it could just focus on the best prices being found by members.

well I don't know what you are driving or what you are driving at but so far all sites listed are very useful and helpful. And if you have a Citgo. Card then why do you need a separate forum as it is unless you want everyone else to do the work for you.....
I know how about you goto....
http://Citgo.com
and find the info yourself....really 2 pages and 12 posts later we really on this subject either that or get you a real credit card or go get one.
Talk about out pure laziness....
-
sorry if I upset you. I thank you for your links. I'm not lazy, I'm just a guy who spends about $60,000.00 per year on fuel and would like to keep more of that money in my pocket. I believe there are others like me and I think we could work together and all save some $$$.
-
I would have to disagree that is why there are links.....as most of us use, t check, com data, efs, etc...etc... Sure you also have those people who use the ooida cc, or the individual truckstop credit cards. And if you using a citgo card there is clearly a location finder right on the front page.
we all trying to save fuel but you are in a niche I would say as I believe and it's Mho. That most here use the major players or those that accept the form of payment such as t check, co data and efs etc... -
I know a lot of guys buy a card for the privilege of going where the card company tells them to go and doesn't care if there is cheaper fuel elsewhere. But for those of us who simply want to see where the cheapest prices are there isn't currently a viable platform to do so without bouncing between 10 websites. I do like that EFS site though. Just checking IA today, I have been paying $3.669, which is decent, but I see there are several KumNGo's at $3.639 I was unaware of and one stop out by Council Bluffs at $3.539. Now if you have a card that you can use to get fuel less than $3.539 or even $3.639 in IA, just tell me. And I will figure out how much the card costs per year, the hassle and fees of loading money on it, etc.... and we'll go from there.
I mean, you say I'm lazy, but your solution is pay for a card. Maybe it's better to find cheap fuel stops and not hassle with a card ? Or maybe it's both, I have two fuel cards right now, but I still want to find a better deal and keep them honest about what they're "saving" me. And I will bet you there are a few other stops in IA under $3.639, I wanna know where they're at. You like your card, cool, maybe there are some others like me that just want to spend less on fuel and are willing to do the work of comparing prices on a leveled playing field. -
To save the extra 10 cents on the citgo cash card you actually take a card off the top of the pump or from the cashier tell her how much you want to put in she loads it onto the card then you swipe it at the pump. So for an owner operator that uses Debit, credit, or even com check as they take them as well that is a big savings over the 3.69 advertised and less than a half mile from the interstate. In fact most get off there to go up the old road any way as it is closer. There trucks say Pilot i=on them and when I asked the girl she said a Pilot card will work to. I parked my Pott 3 weeks ago to stay around home with a grain wagon, 0.27 cents a gallon makes a big difference to me now more than ever. FWIW I always left with both tanks brimming full from there when I was running out of state.

I don't have a card, I just use t checks, so I get me a number for xx amount give to cashier and go fuel.
but on the other hand one would complain about having one site, well one could have just one site like findfuelstops.com as they have a way for drivers to sign up, then add stops, and or prices, but in reality if we fuel at a loves today lets say for xx price, are you really going to be there tomorrow to see what the price is? And how many actually do the input on the fuel prices? But then again, there are those like me who may find a nice little hole in the wall place that not everyone knows about, and it's great to park there late at night, and some like me really don't want others to know about it because once others find out then my great hole in the wall parking will be gone and I'll have to find another -
tks brother this helped me alot
