Short hood... just look at Cascadia ore Columbia and imagine this truck with small EU sleeper.

But IMO, urban cabovers will stay forever

Those were attempts to get euro politicians to change the lenght laws by showing the improved aerodynamics and safety these had, when they failed Scania discontinued their conventional soon after

98989, these are about the shortest hoods we have, the only problem is getting a big enough radiator under them.

This is my brand new one, it has a cummins ISMe5 440hp, eaton 18 speed. They have a bumper to back of cab measurement of 2795mm in day cab, 3385mm with a 28" sleeper or 3555mm with 36" sleeper. Mine has the new cab which is 100mm longer and 100mm higher

As you can see it is a tight fit. These have a 0.79m2 (1220sqinch) radiator

seems like dongfeng is going to try hit europe, they will present their range at iaa,

before they were present at iaa but that was not serious trucks were locked, and they were not allowed to look closer

dong feng was about to build their trucks in serbia at fap, but this never worked, now fap would become part of sisu most likely

I was just in Sydney, and saw lots of KWs, and some Freightliner cab overs. Also saw a Mack conventional. The Kenworths looked just like the '85 K100 I drove new back in the day, except for the roof fairings. I am sure they have been improved. Brought back a lot of memories.
