Headed to Tunnel Hill next week

    A lil excited to be attending orientation next week. Are most of the trucks 10-speeds or are they about evenly mixed with automatics? What stores or restaurants are near the hotel? I'm looking to go out with a trainer on one of the dedicated routes, probably Family Dollar. Insight on what to expect is appreciated :biggrin_2558:

    It's mixed on 10 speeds & automatic

    Not really any stores near there. Some restaurants will deliver. Never tried any of them so I can't recommend one.

    Not much delivers to Tunnel hill other than Pizza places, but there is a roach coach that comes by pretty regular. He usually has a little bit of everything. reasonable prices etc. As far as I can tell all of the new trucks are automatics and you might get one, my last student they gave a Freightliner condo with and autoshift with a grand total of 115 miles on it when he moved in. The older trucks 2011-13 have 10 speeds and the oldest 2010s are autos and are getting retired. So its the luck of the draw. I had a 10speed til it went into the shop and they issued me a new one with auto and about 150 miles.
