So far they are very good to work for, I can see why drivers stay.

 

HI FELLOW DRIVERS! I just put a app in. I have been doing foodservice for about 10 years. I have a opportunity to get into car hauling for URS but saw the ad for Ashley and thought I would see what its about any thoughts thanks in advance!

Hello: I go by T. Rexx. I have driven for another company for three years now and have been a trainer for them for two and a half years. I saw Ashley via linked in and requested an application which I have since sent in. Looking forward to a positive response soon. Does anyone know who there Heath insurance carrier is and what the weekly cost for family coverage is? Was going to another company till I found out that there insurance was $350 per week and none of our doctors took it, so that was out. Ashley sounds good and if all checks out I hope to switch right after Christmas or New Years. Thx. T. Rexx

 

@T.Rexx, good grief at $1500Z+ dollars a month, I'd bet you could find cheaper decent insurance on the open market!
Sorry, I can't answer your question, I just had to comment when I saw that premium of $ 350 a week!

The Leesport PA warehouse has trouble finding drivers and keeping them. They " borrow" drivers from other DC' s to come up and drive from there for a week at a time. I don't think the is a Company problem. May be a DC problem or even a " people" problem. As far as the pay they advertise that is a accurate figure. At least for my husband. You do have to hustle. It's not an hourly wage or hub mile pay however money is good and benefits are excellent! He has been driving for them for over 3 years now. Prior he drove flatbed....box and hoppers. He loves it at ASHLEY.
