Definitely not Pilot. I'll know more tomorrow, but I think these guys are a fairly small company here in AR. I'm guessing they got started fueling here on the gas wells and are expanding into the oil patches. The parent company is basically just a regional fuel hauler, I think. My guess would be that they're following about the same growth pattern as Thomas.

Arky this is true. Have been frac fueling few months now and been on several different crews. All kinds of attitudes, lol. I am cool dude and get a long with most but some these dudes are whiners. Some are also bossy mostly the younger frac techs with no Cdl haha. I am now on a crew with guys my age so happy bout that. Only prob is we also live together in man camp.

Job itself like all said easy. Location has wifi this makes time fly. With a lot down time is hot but weather starting ease up soon. I did water haul one year and I have mixed feelings. Thought would go to crude naturally, but they just seem to have all these restrictions hours Dot all over on everyone. I may do this a bit. Prob not forever but for now. Get alright hours but if you get with cool company you can make good money. I do alright but would be real happy with more lenient hours.

One con for me and maybe not all same everywhere is the fact I don't know where I will be. In driving it was pretty predictable but this, no way. They move around and throw you off. Don't like that too much.

We don't really interact with the fuelers except to say hello or on occasion we need to tell them to stop fueling because we are under pressure...

What sort of interactions are fuelers having with other frac crews?

Guess it depends on who you get on with. I know Texas Pride Fuels and a couple of others don't pay that kind of money. Started at $12. Lot of young guys. Probably 1st job. Most only drove to nearby pad to fill up bobtail out of transport tanker and then back to their little spot on the pad.

Sunoco is a great company to work for...lots of benefits, decent money. If you live near a yard or are willing to relocate, you'll do well with them. It wasn't a good fit for me, but they are a great fit for many.
