Gonna use vacation this year for Christmas, thanksgiving I'll probably stay out.

 

That's exactly what I do. Last year I saved enough days to stay home from before Christmas to after new years.

This year I will be going on leave, daughter will be born early december.

Hey dude, I'm not too far, I'm at a Road Ranger/Pilot off of I64. I actually got a decent load PU tomorrow in St Louis going to Laredo on Friday morning and should get a nice load coming out of there for the weekend...but I hate TX, it's too congested and hot, traffic and construction everywhere plus going to Laredo you have to go thru Dallas, Austin, St Antonio....I just hate TX and it seems that that's where I go the most...yukkk.....lol

Also, I'm stuck in these Midwestern States IL,OH,AR,MO,TX,OK,TN,KY.....

Where you able to make your Lumber delivery on time that Friday??

 

Well dang. Every one got loads for tomorrow already and I didn't get anything.

 

BTW my route suggestion has me going I44 to US69 at Big Cabin and US75 to I35 Dallas.....Would you do that?? I've done it before, but this time I think I'm taking 44 to OK city and 35 all the way down, it's 50 miles more, but I don't have to go thru all those lights om 69 and construction on 75 just before you get to Dallas..

How many votes for 44 to 35??

Yeah. I was on time and they kinda took their time unloading me. But, my follow-on load was right around the corner; an overhead crane that I took to Nogales, AZ. Now that was a run.

 

Do the trucks have fridges in them? Or bring your own?
