A LOT of small hick towns just care about money for their little towns.See if you can simply pay more, extra money to the court and keep it off your record. Have them write it up as " Faulty equipment" keep it off of moving violation category. I had a ticket for 68 in a 40 in a car ,payed more money to the court,no points no speeding ticket just defective speedometer.

When I was young, I couldn't always afford to fix a problem with my car. I could either drive it like it was, or miss work. You should not be so judgmental.

Sounds to me like NOT getting the car fixed is costing him quite a lot. I asked him what kind of car because it just might be a very easy/10$ fix.

That's like the truck driver that couldn't 'afford' the time to keep his truck/trailer in good repair, and so got in an accident?
And possibly killed someone in the process?

Your post simply indicates a very irresponsible attitude.

Are you comparing a truck and trailer to a car? I guess I would've been more responsible not to show up at work. Your post indicates a lack of common sense.
