YEah I was in Charlotte. My TWIC took 3 weeks. Hot SHotting is interesting and I don't think I would mind it, except for sleeping in that little truck. Some of those setups are pulling for more than what we pull per mile. But I have no idea as to what their cost of operation is. I would think that their little trucks would require alot more maintenance and down time. but I could be wrong.

Well its kind of a local thing...so all you would need is a nap...but me myself I can run to Dallas and back in a day easily. ..I dont know much about the cost operating system yet...you really never will until you get into it...but from what I understand you can get 1.30 and up for stuff that dosent way much..and I know its a heck of alot less fuel to burn..do 120k a year and home every day isn't bad at all...ill take a road trip when I want to stretch my legs out..but Im leaning towards hotshot. ..road is getting tiring..ive only did one load this week because I dont feel like being over the road really..im also looking at being a freight broker and completely getting out the saddle. ..idk im all over the place now...im eeally want to go in business for myself. .thats my goal

Owning a truck is a business. You are already in business for yourself.

I think he means not having to deal with someone telling him what to do and pick his own loads
