Parked Here for the Night

Now I am parked at my co. warehouse in PA.... my elog shows that I drove for 10:57 hrs today... I think it was just a little more than that... Nobody here tonight... and the moon is BEAUTIFUL... I hear the crickets and all.... maybe will sleep with windows open....
Will hook to preloaded trailer in the morning and then will go to Blue Beacon in NJ for truck and trailer wash.
And will meet with a few other co. drivers... We will all be going to an event on Saturday in NJ...
5 18 wheelers in a small car parking lot at a university campus or something of that sort for pictures and media...
Was told we can park there overnight tomorrow... Shall see... 4 wheelers! get out of the way... we will "invade" your parking lot...
And the delivery will be in a much smaller parking lot about 7 miles from there... Will have to enter street the "wrong" way to get to parking lot... But was told that is ok... They got authorization from city police... Well... there will be lots of folks on the street guiding us and blocking traffic etc...

 

What campus in Jersey?

 

Not sure it's a campus... it's a university and it has some buildings... but it's not very big... it's in Hackensack...

 

And I thought I was going to be the only one here tonight... But another driver just arrived and came to chat with me... nice fellow... He will also be going to the same event...

 

Yes, ticket is covered , I'm pretty sure safety Kleen will being paying this. Along with my 6 hrs of sitting and sending one of their drivers to off load enough to make me legal

 

It was, I always enjoy taking a new route like that.

you do know there are no baby sitters and you might have to work and get dirty doing that

that is what scares me the work part I will make $68000 this year just driving around

 

Work don't say that word around me. It scares me to death. I'm not sure I made any money this year but I have had a good time doing it. Just got out of bed in Waldenburg Ar. They are gonna start loading at 7. I gotta blow this #### buggy out first. Sigh
