Altamaha Tech in South Georgia is good. The Prime PSD program is also good.

Youre in riverside go to roadmaster. Or go to JBS they will pay for your training at roadmaster.

It is a $6000 school(financed) and top notch in the industry (in our area).

Do it, and dont look back.

Dootson in Arcadia has a good reputation with a lot of local companies.

Probably half of there students are there because they are working and now need a CDL for one reason or other.

Do your research, here and around the web. You can find them anywhere from $1800.00 to $6000.00 a program. Just be sure its 160 hours or more course.

I'm a trucker's mom. He decided between two schools. He goes to Butler Tech, Hamilton, OH. It's a brand new program, the trucks are nice (I've seen them). The tuition for a 5 week m-f class 8-5 is $4785 for CDL A. The program is 200 hours.

Good choice avoiding Hamrick. A quick search in these forums should pull up my review of them. I'd steer everyone else away, as well, if you can!

avoid Skyway in Hesperia. im there now. i've seen less drama on Jerry springer then i see at school. first, the office lady gets an instructor fired. then, said office lady quits because she cant get along with, and feels threatened by students. fired instructor is replaced by former instructor returning from heart attack. cardiac guy rubs other instructor wrong way with his hitler syndrome so angered instructor has submitted his two week notice. the other instructor slept in the sleeper while i struggled to figure out Alley docks..hmm,lets see what else, horrible equipment..had a tire blow out in the yard today..that was fun. other then that..its great. im sure im going to cruise my DMV test n a week or so<sarcasm>
