I'd have to find my bottle to be sure, but I believe it's the ultra fine. I've had that bottle for years, so I don't remember exactly which one. But 5 minutes with a tshirt and branch marks, chain scuffs, etc. were history. Pretty much anything that wasn't through the clear it would handle.

FYI, once the clearcoat is broken and you can feel a scratch with a fingernail, you will not be able to buff it out. Polishing compound is great for removing slight scuffs that a dealer is trying to write up as scratched. Dealer personnel know exactly how to augment their body shop business by taking exceptions on new vehicles and turning them into transport claims. To a dealer it is found money. They get book labor rates on a transport claim. Working out of an assembly plant, it is very easy to walk away with clean delivery doc's. However working from a rail ramp is a different ballgame. They come off the rail with all kinds of damage and it is up to the driver to find it BEFORE it is moved out of bay. Move it, you own it.

Exactly.
FYI, I used to try and work it out with the dealer outside of the Ford claims process to save money. I had dealers that would do the work at their internal labor rate and bill me direct. It not only saves money, but keeps you off the radar at the OEM's claims office. Did I say "rolling 6"??? I know Hammer knows what I mean.Speedloader and Hammer166 Thank this. -
