If you made the right choices for YOU........that's all that matters. If you are happy there...........same thing. Noone said you made bad choices....it's just all too often assumed the only way to break into this industry is via a big company. If you are content with what you have done and where you are; why let anyone kill that buzz?? LOL You just need to recognize it's not the ONLY way!
Qualcomm.......ok but just a word of advice.....don't let it think FOR you......it doesn't eliminate all possible mistakes.....just reduces them; it's a management tool pure and simple.
Best of luck to ya!!

Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

What classifies a mega is all subjective to the individual. Like I said above, I wouldnt classify TMC as a mega, let alone any of those under those with less than 5000 trucks. But thats me.

It's becoming this way everywhere ,
You gotta be perfect .
Any mistake that occurs
represents a potential liability.
So they fire at first opportunity
so as to avoid it costing in the future.
Where I work for example ,
they have three people that
watch us like hawks.Every movement
is observed and corrected if need be.
They even re/run our DMV and do a
background check every 3 months looking
for potential problems.
I just do the best I can
Their attitude towards me
is none of my business.wolfcake Thanks this. -
Thank you, thats all I wanted. For someone to recognize that not everyone has the same options that he had. His level of disrespect goes far in his other posts Ive seen.
And think for me? How? I use it as a tool to keep track of things for me. It doesnt run me. If im tired, i stop. If i need to piss, I stop. It doesnt tell me what, just keeps me informed is all. -
Some day companies like that won't be as strict when they're seeing more trks sitting at their term.
-
For someone who's so happy with their situation you sure seem angry. Name calling and cussing at people really is not necessary.
I had no streak of luck nor beat anyone's door down to get a job trucking. I try to simply let people know that you don't have to start out with one of the large bottom rung companies. That terminology better?
I hope you have a better day tomorrow.SMTatham Thanks this. -
I feel it is when essentially im being told that I was wrong when things are working fine for me. However its the way you go about telling individuals like you do. You are disrespectful in it. Basically its what goes around comes around with meMJ1657 Thanks this.

Name calling and cussing needed?? Nawwwww........just let it go!! If things are rosy there........I'm truly happy for ya.........but I'm willing to bet 100 bucks in 12 months you'll be working somewhere else....
MJ1657 Thanks this. -
I'm sorry if you find me telling the truth to be disrespectful. For someone that is worried about respecting people you have a strange way of showing it. I was brought up name calling and cussing at someone is one of the higher forms of disrespect. I guess we were all brought up differently.
If TMC is working for you that's great. I agree with SMTatham that we will all have to see if you are singing their praises in the near or distant future.
I'm sorry if I offended you in some way I was not aiming any of my posts at you until you came after me. -
Some think Sue Vinje Trucking is too big and she only has 50 trucks and they're really sharp; it's all in the perspective.
