Hard to say.
The system is so screwed up with the transition. A week or two ago, when my store cancelled, they sent me to Tunkhannock, PA for a load, nearly 200 miles away. I got there, and the load had already been picked up. Apparently, The Computer generated two trips for the one load. So, I hauled an empty trailer back to the DC.
I've run into the same thing for a backhaul in NJ. At least this one was only 5 miles out of my way.

I just figured I'll end my pay Wednesday midnight at around 3200 miles. Not a bad payday if I was solo, but not a good payday for a team.
Hopefully that will look up, as we are stacked now with loads that will get the next week started with a 1500 mile run that ends on Thursday. Way too many loads have long wait times between unloading then loading. Both our stacks involve 10-12 hour wait times to get the next load. At least these are showing as drop and hooks.
Running past Chicago on I-80 on a beautiful day. Trainee is getting smooth, approaching 140 hours BTW. We'll call it a day in Battleground, MI to get a good parking spot before heading in the wee hours to Detroit area for our live unload at 6:00 am.

Spiceland, IN. Dropped my load today and when got dispatched on my next one home, the t-call was removed. Called in and said that it was removed because running late. WTF, I was dropping in Columbus and from there 470 miles to Syracuse by 2100 Monday. I am dropping at 0900. If it was going direct from Gary to Syracuse then only 650 miles from today until 2100 tomorrow night. They then resent and the pplan was back on and the times changed. I went from original of 1200 to 0830. Sent in loaded call and said 1000 and no problems. Darn Plus1 strikes again.

Doing a 10 at a Peelot on I-57N a little south of Chi-Town.
Pulled my mty up to KY from Memphis this morning to p/u a preloaded trl for Walmart store almost in downtown Chicago. Dispatch said load was heavy and manifest said 40K, but the secretary said that was because they don't have a scale. Huh? Pulled the trailer off the dock and it's several little pallets with a few small boxes on each. Set the tandems at 41' and hit the road. Felt like I was pulling an mty.
Got it a ppln later for an über heavy load from Chicago to St Paul MN with ludicrous impossible p/u and delv times. I mac9'd it pushing the times so far out the box I was almost embarrassed. Had a live unload appt so I figured they'd yank it right off me. Hit the send button thinking stuff it...Jill came right back and said appt. changed now accept! WTF!! Oh well, usually works. Now I'm just gonna hump it straight to Inver Grove for a 10 tomorrow then go get it unloaded ASAP Tuesday morning and get another. They got me this time

HousTank, I advise you send a Mac-22 with an updated time as soon as you figure out a good ETA for your live unload delivery. That way it will update the system with your new PTA and planners can have a heads up to get you underway asap. I used to try and put fudge factor in my loaded call times, but that backfired because the planners would get surprised I delivered earlier than my ETA and wouldn't be ready to work on my new load until AFTER I'd already delivered. That resulted in sitting between loads more than I should have been.
Use the Mac-22 to both increase and decrease the ETA's and update your PTA. It will also have better communication with the customer as well will let them be ready for you.HousTank Thanks this. -
Lepton...you're absolutely right. I will cuz I need one more 500 miler I can deliver on Wednesday to salvage the week. Several short hops this week. All the Line4 activity is killing me

Back in Lancaster, have a doctor visit in Pearland, TX on Tuesday. I also need to hit the shooting range while I'm there and stop by the DPS to get my hazmat endorsement removed.

Ludlow ca I 40 ....had a huge traffic back up on the 40 outside of needles headed west.....no detour apparently ....but I took a chance and went thru the lovely town of goffs California...ewwww....really don't understand why all the sheepole prefer to just sit in that traffic...it wasn't a bad road and I even might have caught some air of some of those washes lol......errrr,not really....

Thought that the MAC-22 was only for running late, not running early. Thought that MAC 34 was running early, update you ETA and PTA. I have a feeling that his unload is a FCFS if it accepted it like that, and if it is, better watch out as far as PTA. Could show up early and end up sitting.HousTank Thanks this.

Don't think so ... they tore it down saw no coolant anywhere and put a pressure test on it for 18 hours ... nada ... I'm suspecting the water pump.
