Not to hijack this thread anymore than we already have, but Dan Post makes some darn good boots!
I bought a pair when that one place in Marion was going out of business as part of their buy one pair get two pair free sale. Most comfortable and durable pair of cowboy boots I've ever owned.

Rusty Spur/Randy's Ranchwear.....I like to have went bankrupt over that sale and by the time it was over I couldn't WAIT for them to close shop....lol...Yeah these boots are Elk and are like gloves....I wear them to Church and funerals only anymore because they are in the best shape of any pair I have and thats after TEN years.I use DoubleH cowboy work boots with steel toes for work boots and I just replaced my old pair that were 8 years old.I had three sets of heels replaced and they still dont have hole in the leather but they are beat to a pulp.

Some were just "chicken lights" and they did look good. They stayed on via a switch, or, were wired into the parking light circuit. I believe a few peeps even had a few bulbs wired to the mic and they would be powered during transmissions.
However, the best, and, most intriguing were the fluorescent tubes that required no wiring. The RF of a good radio would make the gas glow beautifully. If you really had a "shoot out" capable radio, your assistant could walk into the parking lot holding the tube, and, it would magically light up every time you keyed up the mic.
Those were the days. -

The ones I have are the chickenlights....They are funtioning ants ,but I've never used them as such.I couldn't see them being very good for that purpose. As far as chickenlights go tho',they are the cat's ###.

I've been catching my half of the highway on fire and have been gone for a couple of days. LOL, I KNEW you would finally appear! -
All and Any light looks good. That's if they are done tastefully. Not just put on. Thought must go in to placing your lights. You can over do it.
I like both styles of antenna lights.
You can get little fluorescent bulbs for a battery lantern at Wal Mart. Stick them on long ways. Black tape the ends, and key the mic. You will glow when you talk. -
But you've got to think "new wave". Black lights dude
Nothing like that strange purple glow
Just be sure to get as high a wattage as you can find. They will blow otherwise. Never had a regular flouresent do that. -
