The Cali truck might end up being yours, just a thought. If your in it and running, why make you stop and switch.

Well, made it to Fontana, found the truck, assigned the truck, still at Fontana.

This truck is a newer Cascadia, much cleaner. By that I mean, actually clean. Nice truck. Slept in it
last night, comfortable enough. Now just waiting to find out where my first actual load will be.

When I do get back to Dallas, going to try to keep it. Not sure if they will let me, but it's worth a shot.

    And the adventure still continues...

Well not sure if I am going back to Dallas. Lol.

Finally got a pre assignment late yesterday, set up for this morning. But there was a problem with the shifter in the truck. The shop said 2 hours to fix, 7 hours later got the truck back. Had to redo the plan. I finally picked up a loaded trailer and drove it, literally, across the street. Dropped it went to get new loaded one heading for Pueblo, CO. However, turns out it wasn't, it was headed to Albany... OR. Sat on the phone with dispatch, for about an hour, took load off me, reassigned me to drop load at Fontana yard. Nothing after. I've been with the truck for two full days and have driven 1,000 yards. Lol.

Finally got a pre-assignment for in the morning to go to Phoenix after a short run, drop and hook here. I might, just might, get out of CA tomorrow, to get back to Dallas, to actually be assigned a truck, for real. Lol.

I should have remembered my training from the Army, never, ever volunteer. Lol.

I hope all that read this are safe and well. For now, the adventure continues...
