I passed by Cullman, AL today... was going north... Brought me memories of when I was on the Walmart dedicated... Cullman used to be my "hometime" DC... But in name only... cause I used to take "hometime" in Chattanooga, TN... Hey, I noticed there's a "new" truck stop at that exit 304...on AL-69... is that a PETRO?

Thanks partner. Yea I like the cafe in Hillsboro fa shore. There is a good one in San Angelo and Hereford.
I sure miss pulling my cow wagon most days. I did find something in pulling the hopper I like a lot better than elevators and hauling right out of the field. I really like running the feed mill circle. Conditions are worse at the feed mills verses the elevator but I like it better for some reason.Giggles the Original Thanks this. -
i feel bad for anyone spending a 10 at the 55

Ms. Rocks, that new truckstop at the 304 is a Wilco. The Petro is down at the 299. I'm based out of Cullman, so the company I'm leased to runs us through there regular.
Yeah wore out, I haven't gotten out to the panhandle in a while. I haven't ever pulled a hopper, but the lil feed mill in town where I used to buy my cow feed, we were talking one day and he darn sure got me thinking!Rocks Thanks this. -

Thank you Mr. Al.... I never noticed that PETRO...

Memories of Cullman... I once spent New Year's Eve at that Walmart supercenter in Cullman, after I dropped loaded trailer at that DC... Used to take my 10 there sometimes and do my groceries... IMO it was better than Shell on AL-69... -
My thoughts exactly
-
Yep, that Shell on 69 is kinda hard to get in and out of. They shut down the restaurant and moved the western store, so not sure what they're gonna do. I try to stay out of Walmart if possible, but we haul a bunch for several companies close by.
Rocks Thanks this.
