Remind me to tell you about the time someone turned me in for doing power slides on an ice covered parking lot of a closed shopping mall... with a 66 passenger school bus.

Taking a 10 at the Peelot next to Inver Grove. Got here with 7 minutes left on my 14 thanks to rush hour in Minneapolis.

Got my vandalised air lines fixed this morning, grabbed my Costco load and got out of Morris. Ran into serious traffic jam on I-39N due to lane closures. I'm very happy to be leaving the Chicago area finally. Have a live load in the morning heading to northern Utah.

 

Think Swift is making me walk the plank. I've been with them 5 months and all of a sudden safety has called me 2 weeks in a row. I didn't return 2nd call. It's for speeding, over 68 for over 5 mins they say. I've driven the same since started, but 2 black marks on file oh no. Had been pretty good working there, guess I need to start pre qualify other places tho.

 

Unless you have a 5+ mile long downhill, I don't think that's possible. You might want to point that out to Safety.

BTW, if you don't return the call, you'll find yourself sitting on a safety hold.

 

ya guess that's what the length was. i might not want to contact safety- again. Another black mark.

 

My truck is governed at 61, I was going along w/ traffic or ppl were passing me.

 

Perhaps the speed was doctored. Strange how for 4 months nothing then 2 weeks in a row speed violations. I haven't changed driving habits.

 

Perhaps ignoring safety is the better plan, i still got 2 more runs, and might be less black marks on my record.
