Does anyone make window bug screens for pickups? This time of year its nice to have some fresh airflow without the risk of mosquito bites. I will also use a 12v fan for airflow and to create some "white noise". I find it impossible to sleep in still air.

go look up the federal regs for sleepers,.to qualify as a sleeper you have to meet the regs requirements,,, if you don't a smart A-hole cop can write you up and disqualify your sleeper birth time, this is NO BS

I have seen some very nice sleepers. My main problem is that I use the truck as my personal vehicle when I am home. So taking the back seat out or installing a sleeper conversion doesn't work for me. I would like to have one so I can relax while when I am waiting for a load but so far that has not been a real big problem.

Nice! I was just talking to the old man about doing something very similar to your set up!

This is an '05 Dodge Quad cab, and i now have apx. 36"x64"s of space. I'm not going to cut out the door panels like the Woodhouse video shows. I'm keeping the door hardware in place. Instead, i'm going to utilize some of the r/f passenger seat space. I swapped my passenger seat into the driver's position because it has a whole lot less bum time, and feels like new compared to the one it replaced. I'm leaving the passenger seat space vacant for now. I plan to attach a piece of wood to the passenger seat slider. I can add a cushion there to give me space to stretch out. I might just reattach the seat portion of the chair. Not having the seatback in the way makes it easy to move from front to back without having to get out.
The Woodhouse had a metal frame. The Dodge rear floorboard allows me to skip the metal frame while using the stock bolts and their holes. I will need 1" rubber pucks to level the board, plus i'm going to have the local metal shop fabricate me 4 brackets that bolt to the rear feet of the front seat frames. No drilling or cutting of any kind to the truck. The only drilling will be done through the wood. I'll post some pics soon.ballardkrystin Thanks this. -
He's out right now.. Hopefully the next time he brings it in we can take the back seat out & take some measurements.. I'll be looking for those pics! Thanks!
