Ill give you my speel. I got my cdl back in 2011 and never used it until 3 months ago. I got hired by a small company of 500 trucks strictly running the northeast. I pulled a flatbed for a few weeks then hauled bulk lime. There is a huge difference between an 80000 load of freight to a 99000 load of lime. Now i haul waste water at 99000 and holy crap that is another cup of tea especially since it moves and grows. But it pays. Your best bet would be to find a company that offers tankers but hauls van so you can easily transfer.
