OK, i didn't take all these pics for nothing! Let's see if this works.
I removed all the seats, belts, brackets, etc. I swapped the passenger seat over to the driver's side.

Finally, i was ready to bolt the plywood to the deck using longer floor bolts and 1" nylon spacers to level the board against the contours of the floor. Unfortunately, the thread twist on the new bolts didn't fit the existing holes, so i'll have to wait til Monday for the hardware store to open before proceeding.

What do you think of my improvised bug screens?
I took my used pair of Freightliner Cascadia screens and cut them down a little. They almost fit the rear windows of my Quad Cab stock! I just had to trim some of the plastic border, and place it where the gap was. It took all of 10 minutes to make the pair fit. A tiny hole is still present, but i can easily fill that gap. Hooray! Fresh air, and no bug bites!Last edited: Sep 22, 2014
